With the recent success of our race night, we would like to say a special ‘thank you’ to everyone who came along, sponsored and supported our event. We really appreciate your effort by both attending and helping us to raise money for the fantastic Autism Initiatives. In this post we will be saying special thanks to the people and companies who helped make the night a success and also our raffle donations, printing donations and finally an announcement with the final amount raised from the night. If you did come along, we hope that you had a great night and enjoyed helping a brilliant cause to support those in the local area who have Autism.
We had a few individuals from Espresso Web and businesses who went above and beyond to ensure that the night was a success. From kind donations of printing supplies to sponsoring our races, it meant a lot to us to have companies who believed in our event and charity. We would like to take this time to say special thanks to the following people for their help and support to ensure that the night went off without a hitch:
- Lee Bryan for organising the event
- Kelly Hartley for managing the raffle and helping to plan the night
- Sophie Morgan for selling the most tickets
- Stephen Robinson for putting time and money into the event
- Greg Langstaff for putting time and money into the event
- Everyone who made donations to the raffle
- Ste and Greg again for winning the auctions of the Smith Brothers signed boxing gloves
Espresso Web are also extremely grateful for the help and donations from the following businesses for sponsoring our horse races:
- Concrete Imprint Driveways
- Everclean Ltd
- Eclipse ICT
- Bellwood Rewinds
- The Vault Bar & Restaurant
- UK Trade Printing
Without the kindness and generosity of Wensum Print, we would not have of been able to raise the amount that we did at our race night. They were amazing from the start to finish of our event. Wensum Print kindly designed and donated 200 tickets, 30 posters and 100 programmes for our charity race night. This then allowed us to reach out to more people and sell more tickets for the night, meaning we were able to raise more funds for Autism Initiatives. Not only that, but by choosing to donate the tickets, posters and programmes, we were able to put more funds back into our charity pot which is excellent. So we massively appreciate your kindness and would like to say a huge ‘thank you’ to the entire Wensum Print team!
Total Amount Raised
Drum Roll Please…
With your help and donations to our charity night, we have been able to raise a fantastic amount for a charity close to our hearts and place of work. The Middlesbrough hub at Autism Initiatives is just two doors down from our office and we’re constantly donating money and keeping in close contact with the charity help where we can. Friday night was an amazing event and we’re thrilled to announce that the total amount raised was an incredible £1200.72! We’re over the moon with this figure and can’t wait to see the impact it will have on the lives of those who attend the Middlesbrough hub.
How Your Donations Will Help
To put it into context, the Middlesbrough hub as it stands is currently limiting the team and visitors there to only a few people at one time. So with this donation and future support from Espresso Web they have the ability to consider relocating to somewhere with more space and outdoor facilities. This would then allow them to help more people at one time and hold 1:1 support sessions, clubs and evening activities. At the moment, this isn’t possible for them. Due to the amount raised, it is still not enough to move property, but they do have the option to purchase more exciting, educational and fun items for the Middlesbrough Hub including:
- Touch screen computers and software
- Games and puzzles
- TV and DVD player
- Garden equipment
- Games consoles
- Raised beds
- Additional sensory equipment
- Outdoor trampoline and adult swing
- Three wheeler bikes
- Arts and craft equipment
- Kitchen equipment
So we would like to say a huge ‘thank you’ and ‘well done’ to everyone who helped raise money and sponsored our race night. Your kind donations have helped a fantastic charity and we are already helping to raise more funds with Ryan’s Coast to Coast Bike Ride. Here, Ryan our Customer Account Manager will be competing a 165 mile bike ride across three days in July to raise some much needed funds for Autism Initiatives.
We hope you had a fantastic time at the race night and again, thank you for coming along.
Final Words from Liz Thornber at Autism Initiatives
Brilliant news about Friday! I was so impressed with everything Lee and the rest of your team had done with the programmes and organising and was keeping everything crossed that the night turned out well. Please would you pass on our thanks to Lee and everyone there at Espresso Web for doing this event!
