What’s Happening Throughout December?
As it is for any business Christmas is a busy time of year, but also a time to enjoy and come together as friends and family. This year at Espresso Web we have a lot going on throughout December to celebrate Christmas and to get our team in the festive spirit.
We have decorated the office and have our Christmas tree up and taking centre stage in the main reception area. Being a Google Partner we received an advent calendar from them, which Karanka the bear (and Connor) have been enjoying tucking into on a daily basis.
Charities We’re Supporting
We’re also proudly supporting two charities this Christmas, the first being Cash for Kids,Mission Christmas Campaign. This year 1 in 3 families will be living in poverty this December and Christmas is a luxury that many families can’t afford. As the largest Christmas toy appeal in the UK, the Espresso Web team will be proudly donating and collecting toys and gifts for children aged 0-18. All we ask is whenever you’re doing your Christmas shopping this year, spare a thought for those in need, buy an extra present and you could help to make a childs Christmas special this year. If you have any toys or gifts you’re wanting to donate to Cash for Kids, Mission Christmas, you’re more than welcome to drop them off at Espresso Web.
Another Charity we’ll be supporting this December is Autism Initiatives, a charity who we work closely with throughout the year. Holding regular dress down days throughout the month to raise money, this month we’ll be having a Christmas Jumper Day on the 16th December to celebrate Christmas and help raise money for a great cause. We’ll also be saving The Gazette’s Wish Tokens to help Autism Initiatives get a share of the £25,000 set aside for local charities by The Gazette.
Finishing Off The Year
The 16th of December is a big day for the team at Espresso Web, it’s also our Christmas Party! We’ll be enjoying a 3-course meal and will be dancing the night away at the Sporting Lodge Inn. We’re also holding an office Secret Santa, so it will be interesting to see how well everyone knows each other in the office, (let’s hope there’s no red faces).
This year is also the first year for the Espresso Awards, our staff will be voting for their team member of choice for categories such as most achieved, class clown, and many more. It’s also Karanka’s first Christmas, so you’ll have to wait until January to find out which lucky person he gets to spend Christmas with.
A Few Words from The Directors
Greg & Stephen – “2016 has been phenomenal for the growth of Espresso Web and the family that makes this possible. We have improved the quality of the product we deliver for our ever growing client base, we have almost doubled the size of our team and seen a growth in revenue to almost reach the £1 million mark! Along with this the Espresso Web brand has gone from strength to strength, we now receive more than 4 times the amount of visitor numbers than we did in 2015. With our recent expansion and a recruitment drive to end the year – Could we have asked for more? Probably not! Massive thank you to all of the Espresso Web family that have made this possible, we look forward to 2017 which is going to be even more successful than 2016!”
